When should clients get the card?
On closing day or right after, when the keys change hands. Every client gets the same invitation, whether the deal was smooth or not.
Do reviews go to the agency or to each agent?
The card goes to the profile you choose. For the office's card, that's the agency's own Google profile, so the reviews stay with the office. Agents who have their own listing can get their own card too.
Can the report show which agents clients mention?
If reviews name specific agents, yes, the report can surface that pattern rather than leaving it anecdotal.
How does verification work for a real estate agency?
Like any office: Google chooses the method, often a short video or a mailed postcard to your office address. A shared or virtual office can take extra steps.
How should we reply to reviews?
Keep replies general: thank the client and invite them to call the office. Never mention the property, the price, or anything personal about the client. Member reports include reply drafts written that way.
Is there anything we should avoid asking customers?
Yes: never ask for a specific star rating or wording, never offer anything in return for a review, and never ask only the customers you think are happy. The card simply makes it easy for everyone to leave an honest review.
Is “Real estate agency” the right Google category for me?
For most businesses like yours, yes. “Real estate agency” is the exact name in Google's category list, and it should be your primary category. Secondary categories some businesses add, only when they really offer that service: “Real estate agent”, “Real estate consultant” and “Real estate rental agency”. Choose only categories that describe what you actually do. When we set up or clean up your profile, we check each one in Google's own category picker.
