TapLocal App℠
Case Type: Mobile Detailing

Showroom shine.
In the customer's driveway.

Detailing is one of the most visual trades there is: customers love posting before-and-after photos, and the convenience of not driving anywhere is usually line one. TapLocal App℠ sets up a service-area Google profile for your real coverage area, places an NFC + QR Google review card, and hands you a report on what customers already say.

No gating. No incentives. No guarantees. Ever.

// Why detailing is a special case

Reviews people can see

Photos are part of the review

Detailing customers often add before-and-after photos, which make a review far more convincing to the next person.

Not driving anywhere comes up constantly

The mobile part of the service is often the first line of the review.

The reveal is the moment

Handing back a spotless car is the natural time to hand over the card, while the customer is still impressed.

Hidden address, one coverage area

Google chooses how you verify; for a business like this it's usually a short video of your setup.

// Process

Four steps, no theatrics

Already have a service-area Google profile claimed? Start at Install.

Set Up

We build your service-area profile, hide your base address, define where you actually work, and walk you through Google's verification (usually a short video).

Install

A branded NFC + QR card left on the clean dash or seat, a small sticker inside the door jamb, or printed on your invoice. Tap or scan, straight to your Google review page.

Collect

Customers leave reviews the normal way, at their own pace — one tap and two clicks. No scripted asks, and no discounts, freebies or rewards for reviews — of any rating.

Learn

You get a TapLocal Intelligence Report™, built only from your own public reviews — what's working, what to fix first.

// Mobile Detailing questions

Mobile Detailers: questions, answered plainly

Can we ask customers to add photos to their review?
You can mention that photos are welcome, as long as you say it to everyone and don't ask for a positive review. Many detailing customers add photos on their own.
We have maintenance-plan customers. When should they get the card?
After a first full detail is a natural moment. Regular customers can review whenever they choose; the card stays in the car.
How is my coverage area defined?
You tell us the cities, counties or ZIP codes you actually serve, and we set your Google service area to match, not a single pin on a map.
How does verification work for a mobile detailer?
As a service-area business, your base address stays hidden. Google chooses how you verify; for a business like yours it's usually a short video of your rig and equipment.
Do ceramic coating and paint correction jobs review differently?
Often, yes. Bigger jobs tend to get longer, more detailed reviews. Your report shows which services customers talk about most.
Is there anything we should avoid asking customers?
Yes: never ask for a specific star rating or wording, never offer anything in return for a review, and never ask only the customers you think are happy. The card simply makes it easy for everyone to leave an honest review.
