TapLocal App℠
Case Type: Food Truck

You're already popular in line.
Google should know it too.

A food truck builds a following one stop at a time — but without a storefront, Google treats you differently, and most trucks never get set up correctly. TapLocal App℠ builds your service-area profile the right way, puts a branded NFC + QR Google review card on the truck, and hands you a report on what customers are already saying.

No gating. No incentives. No guarantees. Ever.

// Why food trucks are a special case

The road doesn't come with a map pin

No storefront, no pin

A truck doesn't serve customers at a fixed address, so Google asks you to hide it — get that setup wrong, and you're invisible to anyone searching "food truck near me" right now.

Verification looks different

Trucks usually go through a video walkthrough, not a mailed postcard. We walk you through it ourselves, in person if needed.

One profile, every stop

Your service area covers everywhere you actually park — not one fixed address, and not a radius Google will accept anymore either.

Reviews close the gap

Without a storefront someone can just walk by, reviews are what convince a stranger to find your truck today instead of scrolling past it.

// Process

Four steps, no theatrics

Set Up

We build your profile with the most accurate categories Google offers (it has no "Food truck" category, so we match what you actually serve and how you operate), hide your commissary or home address, define your real coverage area, and personally walk you through Google's verification.

Install

A branded NFC + QR card goes on the truck itself — the window, the counter, or printed right on the order receipt — wherever people are already looking while they wait.

Collect

Customers leave reviews the normal way, at their own pace — one tap and two clicks. No scripted asks, and no discounts, freebies or rewards for reviews — of any rating.

Learn

You get a TapLocal Intelligence Report™, built only from your own public reviews — what's working, what to fix first.

// Food Truck questions

Food Trucks: questions, answered plainly

Do I need a fixed address to get a Google profile?
No. We set you up as a service-area business — your address stays hidden and your coverage area is defined instead of a fixed pin.
What if I move locations or change my schedule constantly?
Your service area covers your general territory, not one daily spot. For day-to-day locations, we set you up to use Google Posts so today's parking spot is easy to share.
How does verification work for a truck?
Usually a short video walkthrough of the truck and proof of ownership, not a mailed postcard. We walk you through it ourselves.
Can I list multiple trucks under one brand?
Under one profile, yes. Google allows one profile per business for its whole service area, so several trucks under one business normally share it; separate profiles are for genuinely separate businesses. We help sort out the right structure for your setup.
Where does the card go on the truck?
Typically the service window or order counter — wherever customers are already looking while they wait.
Can the report identify which crew member a review is praising?
If reviews name someone by name — the person at the window, the grill, whoever — the report can surface that pattern instead of leaving it anecdotal.
Do you handle catering gigs too?
If you also do mobile catering under the same business, we can fold that into your profile's categories.
