TapLocal App℠
Case Type: Boutique

Styled, not sold.
And they said so.

Boutique reviews are about the eye behind the racks: the selection, the fitting-room help, and being treated like a person, not a sale. TapLocal App℠ sets up or cleans up your Google profile, places an NFC + QR Google review card at the counter and in the fitting area, and hands you a report on what customers already say.

No gating. No incentives. No guarantees. Ever.

Exhibit A — the card, on the wrapping counter
// Why boutiques are a special case

Taste is the product

The selection is the reason to come

Shoppers describe a boutique by its style and how carefully it's picked. Those words are what the next shopper searches for.

Fitting-room help gets written about

Honest advice on fit, and an owner who remembers your size, are among the things boutique customers praise most.

Returns and sizing are the friction

When complaints show up, they're often about return policies or sizing. Your report shows it plainly.

Standard storefront verification

A real address; Google chooses the method, often a short video or a mailed postcard.

// Boutique questions

Boutiques: questions, answered plainly

Is the fitting room a good place for the card?
A small sign there works well, but the counter is the main spot: the customer has just decided, and is usually happiest at that moment.
We sell at markets and pop-ups too. Can those shoppers review us?
Yes. Anyone can review your Google profile. Bring a card to the market table so those shoppers find the right listing.
Will the report show complaints about returns or sizing?
If reviews mention them, yes. The report shows complaints as plainly as praise, so you can see what keeps coming up.
How does verification work for a boutique?
Standard storefront verification: Google confirms your real address, usually with a short video or a mailed postcard.
Can reviews mention our stylists or the owner?
Customers can mention whoever they like. If names come up, your report shows the pattern. You can't ask customers to name anyone.
Is there anything we should avoid asking customers?
Yes: never ask for a specific star rating or wording, never offer anything in return for a review, and never ask only the customers you think are happy. The card simply makes it easy for everyone to leave an honest review.
