TapLocal App℠
Case Type: Music Lessons

Practiced every week.
Played the recital.

Music lesson reviews are written by parents and adult students after months of lessons, and they describe patience, steady progress and a teacher who made practice something to look forward to. TapLocal App℠ sets up the right Google profile for a studio or a teacher who travels, gets an NFC + QR Google review card to the parent or adult student, and hands you a report on what families already say.

No gating. No incentives. No guarantees. Ever.

Exhibit A — the card, at the recital
// Why music lessons are a special case

Months of lessons, one review

Parents review for young students

Many students are minors. The card goes to the parent or guardian, never to the child; adult students get it themselves.

Milestones are the moment

A recital, a first full song or a passed audition is when families are proudest and most likely to review.

Patience is the theme

Reviews praise teachers who were patient, encouraging and clear, more than any particular method.

Studio or traveling teacher

A studio verifies like a storefront; a teacher who goes to students' homes can be set up as a service-area profile. Google chooses how you verify.

Four steps, no theatrics

// Music Lessons questions

Music Instructors: questions, answered plainly

Can we ask young students to review us?
Don't ask children. Give the card to the parent or guardian; adult students can get it themselves.
When is the best time to give the card?
After a milestone: a recital, a first complete piece, a passed audition, or the end of a term.
I teach in my home studio. Will my address show?
That depends on whether students come to you or you go to them. We look at how you teach and recommend a storefront or service-area setup, so your home address isn't shown unless it should be.
How does verification work for a music teacher?
A studio verifies like any storefront. A teacher who goes to students' homes can usually be a service-area profile with a hidden address. Google chooses how you verify.
Will the report show which instruments or teachers people mention?
Yes. If reviews keep mentioning certain instruments, teachers or recitals, the report shows those patterns.
Is there anything we should avoid asking customers?
Yes: never ask for a specific star rating or wording, never offer anything in return for a review, and never ask only the customers you think are happy. The card simply makes it easy for everyone to leave an honest review.
