TapLocal App℠
Case Type: DJ & Entertainment

Packed the dance floor.
Read the room.

DJ and entertainment reviews are written by the couple or host after the event, and they praise someone who read the room, kept the timeline on track and played what people wanted. TapLocal App℠ sets up a service-area Google profile for the area you actually play, gets an NFC + QR Google review card to the host, and hands you a report on what clients already say.

No gating. No incentives. No guarantees. Ever.

Exhibit A — the card, at the DJ table
// Why DJs are a special case

One night, one review

The host reviews, days later

Couples and hosts usually review after they've recovered from the event, so a reminder with the final invoice or thank-you note matters.

More than the music

Reviews mention announcements, keeping the schedule, working with the venue and handling requests, not just the playlist.

Guests are future bookings

Guests who loved the music ask who played. A card on the DJ table answers that without asking anyone for a review.

Hidden address, one service area

Google chooses how you verify; for a business like this it's usually a short video, not a mailed postcard.

// Process

Four steps, no theatrics

Already have a service-area Google profile claimed? Start at Install.

Set Up

We build your service-area profile, hide your base address, define where you actually work, and walk you through Google's verification (usually a short video).

Install

A branded NFC + QR card handed to the host at the end of the night or with the final invoice, a small sign on the DJ table so guests know who played, or a link in your thank-you email. Tap or scan, straight to your Google review page.

Collect

Customers leave reviews the normal way, at their own pace — one tap and two clicks. No scripted asks, and no discounts, freebies or rewards for reviews — of any rating.

Learn

You get a TapLocal Intelligence Report™, built only from your own public reviews — what's working, what to fix first.

// DJ & Entertainment questions

DJs & Entertainers: questions, answered plainly

Who should get the card?
The couple or host who booked you. A small sign on the DJ table lets guests find you later, without asking anyone for a review.
When should we ask the couple or host?
A few days after the event, once they've caught their breath. A link in your thank-you email or with the final invoice works well.
Many bookings come through venues and planners. Can those clients review us?
Yes. The couple or host can review your business on Google no matter how you were booked.
How does verification work for a DJ?
As a service-area business, your base address stays hidden. Google chooses how you verify; for a business like yours it's usually a short video of your equipment and business name.
Will the report show what kinds of events people mention?
Yes. If reviews keep mentioning weddings, school dances, corporate events or your MC work, the report shows those patterns.
Is there anything we should avoid asking customers?
Yes: never ask for a specific star rating or wording, never offer anything in return for a review, and never ask only the customers you think are happy. The card simply makes it easy for everyone to leave an honest review.
