TapLocal App℠
Case Type: Art Gallery & Artist

Google Review Cards for Art Galleries

The piece goes home.
The story goes on Google.

Gallery and artist reviews are about the work, the way it was explained, and how carefully it was packed, shipped or hung. A collector often looks you up before buying. TapLocal App℠ sets up or cleans up your Google profile, sends a thank-you greeting card home with every piece sold, and hands you a report on what collectors already say.

No gating. No incentives. No guarantees. Ever.

Exhibit A — the greeting card, with the piece
// Why galleries and artists are a special case

One piece, one story

Collectors look you up first

Before a big purchase, buyers check who they're buying from. Reviews about honesty and care carry a lot of weight.

Packing, shipping and hanging get reviewed

Whether a piece arrived safely and was framed or hung well comes up often. Your report shows if there's a pattern.

Every piece, the same thank-you

A greeting card with the NFC + QR card inside goes with every piece sold, in person or shipped.

Gallery or studio, the right profile

A gallery with open hours gets a storefront profile. An artist without a public studio may need a different setup; we work that out first.

// Art Galleries questions

Art Galleries & Artists: questions, answered plainly

We ship a lot of work. How do those buyers get the card?
The greeting card goes in the crate or tube with every shipped piece, the same as for pieces bought in person.
I'm an artist without a gallery. Can I have a Google profile?
If customers can visit a studio during set hours, usually yes. If not, Google's rules are stricter; we check what you're eligible for before setting anything up.
Should we hand cards out at openings?
A small sign at an opening is fine for anyone who wants it. For buyers, the greeting card with the piece is the main invitation.
How does verification work for a gallery?
Standard storefront verification: Google confirms your real address, usually with a short video or a mailed postcard.
Commissions take months. When should those collectors get it?
When the finished piece is delivered, the same as every other buyer.
